Motor yacht “Montana Moon” is a one of a kind Hatteras, launched in 1995, standing at 118’ long and almost 24’ beam, “Montana Moon” is the only Hatteras of her size with 5 staterooms and a spacious stern fishing cockpit.
The spacious interior has a large salon/dining room, a relaxed skylounge and a forward county kitchen, the 5 ensuite staterooms are all below decks and consist of 2 doubles, 2 twins and a large full beam master cabin.
“Montana Moon” now sits out of the water in North Carolina and awaits her new owner, who has an exciting set of refit opportunities in front of them, this could include anything from only completing the minimal work to the yacht (paint, millwork, basic mechanical rebuilds & commissioning) to enjoy her as soon as possible, or completing a major refit period and changing the look and feel of the interior completely, even extending the skylounge aft to add interior volume, and adding significant area to the sundeck.
Overall “Montana Moon” is currently in fair condition, mechanically, all the systems onboard are started and ran up every couple of weeks by “babysitting” crew, but to thoroughly complete a refit every piece of equipment would need to be serviced.
“Montana Moon” promises to please her future owners that have the vision for this major project.
